I’m Liz. I’m so glad you are here. It means we already have something in common. We both love flowers.
My memories of flowers started very early in my life. Both my grandmothers had gardens that I spent a lot of time in. Mainly because there was nothing else to do but go outside and find something to do. One grandmother with more of a native plant esthetic, where the other one had an English and Japanese garden influence. They couldn’t have been more different but joined by their love of flowers. They both left us far too soon and before I truly had the chance to know them. But when I work with flowers, I feel myself connected to and with them. Oh, the questions I would have asked.
As a dreamer and encourager of dreams, I finally took the plunge to start Finkle Florals in Fall 2022. I’ve had the privilege of growing up around small business owners my whole life. I’ve had a front-row seat most of my life to the hard work, grit, determination, and passion that it takes to build your dreams into a reality. I’m passionate about supporting small local businesses not just because I am one but I see what it can do for a family and community firsthand.
So, thank you for being here. For me, these aren’t just flowers. It’s my small way to make a difference. My intentions are many but the main one is to provide you with a small piece of beauty that reminds you of the kindness that’s still in the world. Hopefully, you’ll pass that on to those that need it.
Services provided
At Finkle Florals, we grow and design with the seasons. Every bouquet starts in our soil here in Lee’s Summit, where flowers are tended with care and harvested at their peak. When we’re not growing the flowers ourselves, we gladly source from other local farms or a trusted wholesaler to keep the blooms flowing and beautiful. We believe flowers have the power to connect people, brighten days, and bring beauty into everyday moments.

Seasonal Flower Subscriptions – Fresh, locally grown bouquets delivered throughout the season.
Weekly Flower Stand – A self-serve stand stocked with farm-fresh bouquets.
Small-Scale Events – Thoughtfully designed florals for intimate gatherings like galas, fundraisers, birthdays, and anniversaries.
